No. 1 The Rat’s Nest

This little known secret tucked away in the iconic red building in NoDa houses the a huge collection of vintage treasures. Boots, books and more await you here! Accessible off of the light rail at the 36th Street Station stop!

No. 2 Goodwill of the Southern Piedmont

Goodwill has a huge presence in Charlotte, with locations throughout the city as well as an outlet and two boutique with upscale thrift finds. My personal fave? The Sardis Road store in Matthews ☺️



No. 3 Salvation Army Thrift Store in Plaza Midwood

Located just blocks from my home, this shop has never let me down. They do a great job color organizing their products, hanging them by category and keeping things clean. 50% off every Wednesday and Saturday!

No. 4 Community Thrift Store

This spot is well known for its finds and dusty interior. You never know what you’ll find here, so make sure you come with an open mind!

This is the spot for trendy finds! Uptown Cheapskate gives you cash on the spot for your name brand finds, as well as offers an unbeatable shopping experience in their multiple stores. Their newest location on South Blvd also has a designer shoe section with Loubs galore 😍


No. 6 Carolina Value Village on South Blvd.

This fan favorite has locations throughout Charlotte and always promise an interesting shopping experience, even if you don’t find quite what you’re looking for 😉

Another humble thrift shop with tons of weird finds in store. Go with an open mind and you’ll never know what you’ll find! Keep in mind they have a $5 debit card limit 🙃

This chain of stores is my go to for furniture and homewares. They sell gently used appliances as well as furniture, decor and pretty much anything else for your home! The store in Cornelius NC is my fave 🖤
